Data we collect
This policy describes how VerityWorks LLC (“we,” “us”) handles data collected through Change Order Check.
We collect the information you submit, including email, ZIP code, optional project details, and your change order document. We also store derived fields such as extracted line items and generated results to produce your report. If OCR is enabled, extracted text may be retained temporarily; production deployments default to storing only a short snippet unless full-text retention is explicitly enabled.
How we process payment
If you pay, Stripe collects and processes payment details. We receive limited transaction metadata (such as payment status and identifiers) but do not receive full card details.
Retention and deletion
Uploaded documents and generated outputs are retained temporarily so you can access your report, then removed as part of routine retention cleanup. For account-related and support requests, we keep only what we need to resolve the issue.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with providers needed for core operations, such as payment processing, email delivery, and observability. When optional analytics or ad attribution tooling is enabled, those providers may receive product-usage events, campaign metadata, and session-interaction data used for measurement and product diagnostics. Browser Do Not Track, deployment-level disable flags, or the local analytics opt-out can suppress some of those tools.
Security
You should avoid including extra sensitive personal details in uploaded documents. We follow practical safeguards, but no transmission or storage system is 100% risk-free.
