What this service is
Change Order Check is operated by VerityWorks LLC, a California limited liability company. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to VerityWorks LLC.
Change Order Check (the “Service”) provides benchmark-based market comparisons and review guidance for construction change orders. You can use it as a decision-support tool before approving contractor pricing.
What this service is not
The Service is informational and directional. It is not professional estimating, legal, financial, or tax advice. Regional benchmarks are directional inputs; site-specific conditions may change the true outcome.
Eligibility and use
- You are responsible for all document content and any legal consequences of decisions.
- Do not upload sensitive personal data that is not needed for review.
- Only request documents and information you are legally entitled to review.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. The Service displays pricing and taxes according to current configuration. Payment details are managed directly by Stripe and do not stay in this application.
A single full report is a one-time payment. The Pro plan is a subscription billed monthly until you cancel. Each paid month includes a set number of full reports; the count resets when the next month is billed, and unused reports do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from Manage subscription; access continues until the end of the month you paid for.
Refund and support
If a charge seems incorrect, contact support from the Contact page. We may request verification before processing refunds.
The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to single full reports. For Pro, cancel anytime to stop future monthly charges, and contact support about any charge that looks wrong.
Liability and risk
To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the report. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Service changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
